Drains are part of your home that you probably don’t think about until they are clogged or backed up, but then it’s the only thing on your mind. Nothing can disrupt your day like water or household waste backing up out of a drain, and it’s wise to keep a good drain cleaning service on speed dial just in case it happens to you. In most cases, getting someone out to your home as soon as possible will minimize any damage and get your plumbing system flowing freely again, just the way you want it.

Isn't It Wonderful When They're Working?
When they aren't...well...it can change your world. When the bad stuff won't go away, experienced Seattle Plumbers can be a lifesaver!
Interior drain lines, like clogged kitchen sink drains, slow bathroom drains and plugged toilets are a hassle. We can usually fix these problems in short order with our drain cleaning equipment and years of experience.
Sometimes, drain problems are outside of your home in the side sewer system. The side sewer is the section of sewer line that removes waste from your house and carries it to the city's sewer line in the street. As registered Side Sewer Contractors, we have the qualifications and experience to repair your exterior sewer lines as well.
These sewer issues crop up due to a number of reasons. Sewers can collapse due to age, above-ground construction work, and tree roots, just to name a few. Just like roots can wreak havoc with city sidewalks, they can break into the sewer when trees are looking for water and "nutrients".
These exterior sewer lines are larger in diameter, and can be snaked, jetted, video inspected, dug up and repaired, and even rehabilitated with minimal damage to your landscaping in many circumstances.
Rehabilitating your sewer line without extensive excavation and damage to your landscaping is done using pipe lining or pipe bursting technology. Many contractors call this "trenchless" sewer repair.
Whichever option you choose, you can trust us to tell you the truth and get you back up and running as soon as possible.

We Are THE Solution For All Of Your Seattle Plumbing Problems!
Every home has multiple drains - kitchen drains, bathroom drains, laundry room drains, floor drains, basement drains, a building's main drain, etc. When they work smoothly and as designed, life is good; but when there's a problem?
With a simple maintenance program you can save yourself from costly headaches at the most inopportune times (like, with a house full of people), and ensure your drains run smoothly. And, of course, should the need arise - or back up, as they say -- we'll be there to quickly resolve any drain problem, large or small.
- Slow drains to full main sewer line replacements; we do it all in drains.
- Removing potato peels from the kitchen drain trap.
- High-pressure jetting of grease-chocked kitchen drains.
Kitchen drains, laundry drains, bathroom drains, floor drains, and even main drains and sewer lines are all notorious for backing up. When your drain is plugged, you can expect a quick and quality resolution each and every time, with such services as:
- A cable to open the line.
- A camera inserted into the line to ascertain the problem and show you clearly what further steps are necessary. We will provide such services as jetting the line to clear it, or repairing or replacing the line, as necessary, to remove any low spots or bellies in the line where grease and sludge collect and could clog it again.
- Once the condition of the line has been determined, we will offer the appropriate warranty on our work
- A typical warranty on drain cleaning is 30 days.
What Causes Clogged Drains?
Clogged drains may have a number of different causes, depending on where the actual clog originates. In the bathroom, things like soap, hair, dead skin, toilet paper and feminine hygiene projects all contribute to clogging drains. In the kitchen, the most likely culprits are food scraps and cooking grease. Clogged drains can happen from the outside, too. If you have trees on your property, the roots may end up growing toward your pipes and sometimes right into the pipes, causing serious clogs. Most drain clogs could have been prevented with some assertive actions from you and your family members, but it takes a team effort to keep unnecessary items out of the drains.
When to Call for Help
Generally, you should consider calling for help when your drain clearing efforts stop working, and your efforts should consist of a standard plunger and little else. Trying to use snakes and chemicals to clear a clogged drain will usually make the predicament worse, so if your plunger doesn’t work, call a plumber and have it done properly. There may be years’ worth of sludge and crud caked onto the insides of your pipes, and a professional will be able to diagnose and treat the problem as quickly as possible. In the most extreme cases, your plumber will implement a technique known as hydrojetting. This method uses blasts of water that are up to 4,000 psi, making quick work of anything in its path.
